The Islamic indoctrination in public schools is finally being exposed as parents across the country and specifically Tennessee come forward to demand the religious aspects of Islam be removed from textbooks and assignments. In Maury County, one of the most egregious lessons was 7th graders writing and reciting the first and most important of the five pillars, the Shahada. Parents are still ridiculed and chastised by those ignorant to the doctrine of Islam, especially the meaning and seriousness of the Shahada.

But while the smoke is still simmering about these issues, another fire is on the horizon.
While the contents of textbooks are in the limelight, the supplemental instructional material resources have not been. While we don’t know to what extent they are being used yet, the very fact these exist as part of the Tennessee Department of Education is troubling.
On the website www.tncurriculumcenter.org/socialstudies there is a link for the “Tennessee Electronic Learning Center”, which states it provides state and national resource links and podcasts for social studies. One of the resource links we followed is http://tn.pbslearningmedia.org/ at which time we searched the word Islam which yielded 673 results.
Randomly clicking on the “Islam In America” lesson plan, an overview, time summary,media resources and websites were displayed. Problem number one was observed immediately. One of the websites listed was for the Islamic Society of North America, (ISNA) the largest Muslim Brotherhood organization in the U.S.
*Declassified FBI memos indicate that ISNA was identified as a Muslim Brotherhood front as early as 1987. “The entire organization is structured, controlled and funded by followers and supporters of the Islamic Revolution as advocated by the founders” of the Brotherhood in Egypt, said one source. In August 1988, that same source furnished the FBI with a private ISNA document “clearly stating that ISNA has a political goal to exert influence on political decision making and legislation in North America.
ISNA which owns and operates several mosques throughout the U.S has been the home to several terrorists including
- *Alton Nolen, an Oklahoma man who in September 2014 beheaded his co-worker and attempted to behead another;
- U.S. Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan, who in November 2009 went on a shooting rampage inside the Army post at Fort Hood, Texas — killing 13 people and wounding at least 31 others;
- Tamerlan Anzorovich Tsarnaev and his brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who planted bombs at the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013, killing 3 people and injuring as many as 264 others
Another link connected to the lesson plan “The Five Pillars of Islam” suggests students be directed to the website of the “Council on Islamic Education” (CIE). That website was taken down after being exposed when two of its researchers, Susan Douglass and Shabbir Mansuri were developing whitewashed historical curriculum for Pearson Books. It has now been renamed and is the Institute on Religion and Civic Values. Mansuri who has stated “I am waging a Bloodless Revolution in America’s Public Schools” continues to develop sanitized curriculum and authors articles for the Muslim Brotherhood website Soundvision.com
Finally, after entering the Frontline section of the PBS site, the Council On American Islamic Relations (CAIR) is used as a source (with a link to their website) for the population of Muslims in America of which they claim Islam is the fastest growing religion in America.
CAIR is not only a Muslim Brotherhood organization, but its executive director Nihad Awad is a self proclaimed supporter of Hamas. CAIR has been designated a terrorist organization in the United Arab Emirates(UAE) as well as Hamas being on the U.S Dept of States Foreign Terrorist Organizations. CAIR is also an un-indicted co conspirator in the United States largest terror funding trial, the Holy Land Foundation.
We do not believe teachers and local school boards are knowingly participating in promoting these lesson plans and their connections. The organizations named above are entrenched throughout the current administration, and are all part of the indoctrination process. Some Tennessee leaders and school boards have thankfully listened and have actually acted on previous complaints by proposing legislation and creating policies.
It is however incumbent on every parent and community member to learn what and how this is occurring and remain vigilant and outspoken. The only way to defeat it is to expose it.
