Tennessee Public Schools Teaching the Shahada

Maury County Tennessee parents are waking up to news their 7th grade children are being indoctrinated with Islam. This isn’t new, as Tennessee has been fighting this battle for the last few years, however the degree of this indoctrination is escalating. Writing the five pillars , and specifically speaking of the Shahada is not only dangerous, its against what the Supreme Court of the United States dictates.

The United States Supreme Court has long held that the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment prohibits school-sponsored prayer or religious indoctrination. According to one of the schools districts 7th grade teachers, the teaching of Islam is part of the “state standards”, hence making it school sponsored.

The Shahada is the first and most important of the 5 pillars of faith. It is the testimony that exemplifies what a Muslim believes and accepts. It is the only pillar that unifies the ummah (community) across the world as one.  When a non believer accepts Islam, the Shahada is verbally expressed and becomes a Muslim. Yes there are other steps involved, but saying the Shahada is the first.

The proselytizing of Islam by non believers is the dream of Islamists. In an article taken from the Muslim Brotherhood website called soundvision, they state:

seed

Eventually accepts Islam. This is the goal.

Parents take a stand to preserve your children s faith, teachers take a stand to preserve our future at all costs.

When a Muslim spreads the word of Islam it is called dawa, when a non Muslim spreads the word of Islam its ignorance and cowardice.

Yet, our children took flak trying to pray around a flag pole in a Judeo Christian nation. These dirt bags come into our country many as illegal criminals & demand America change its laws to suit their political ideology. Too many are giving in to the demands of this deception & this has to stop now.

I have a 7th grade granddaughter that is studying this now at Spring Hill Middle… It is infuriating that this material is being forced on our children. They remove prayer from schools and this is what they replace it with?? We have to do whatever possible to stop this immediately.

I will yank my child out of public schools if this is being taught. Mine are far from being in school yet but I know the time will come. Guess we might be homeschooling.

      • Anonymous says:

Liberals are trying to pass laws making homeschooling illegal with fines & jail time.

That’s the reason the Obama administration refuses to give asylum to a Christian family found guilty of homeschooling in a foreign country. He doesn’t want their kind here any more than are already here. Especially if Christian are activists enough to STAND UP for what they believe in.

That they will never be able to outlaw homeschooling. I homeschool my autistic son because the school system can’t accommodate him. They will never outlaw homeschooling just for these instances. They may make it more difficult but they will never outlaw it. We live in a red state people…stop the fear mongering

I’m a believer of Christianity and the Holy Bible. Although, a number of people have mocked me, laughed at me, and called me a radical for believing my faith; I will not stop taking a stance on this demonic indoctrination on our children and this country! I am reminded of the crucifixion of Christ for his faith and belief in the Father. It is my responsibility to stand up for this country and what our forefathers fought so hard to bring to our land. Freedom of religion! There is NOTHING DIVERSE about this movement taking place in our States! Diversity is all inclusive, and removing patriotism, the United States flag or God from our children’s history in school is a blatant injustice to ALL!

This has to stop now!! This is United States of America!! Get used to it now!!

If mentioning Christ is schools has been deemed wrong, how can Islam be taught. Infuriating. We as Christians need to teach our children right. Stay in the Word. If we give our children the tools they need to combat this type of thing, they will be better off. Don’t get me wrong, Islam does not belong in our public schools. There is nothing to gain from having it taught. I for one as a parent in the Maury County schools, dare them to teach this to my child. I assure you he will be sick that day.

What must we do to stop this? We have got to band together and not let these Muslim people run over us like this. Thus is OUR Country, NOT theirs! Do we need to walk into the classroom, the schoolboards, the Governor? Just tell me. We will stand united, because we are the United States of America!

Christians stand up !!!! Refuse to let this happen !!! Don’t let your kids do it. Fight ! Fight ! Fight !!

Thank you Obama! This is not their country people. Enough already!

Pure stupidity from our elected officials both locally and nationally! The USA is spiraling into the dirt. We need our country back that Obama has destroyed.

17 years ago in middle school we were taught the history and beliefs of Judaism and Christianity in school, simply because it was the dominate thought in the country. Islam is now the fastest growing nation. Our children having an understanding of what other people believe is not indoctrination. Taking your eight year old to church to be brought into the fold in an archaic water ritual, without them having any real understanding of the full beliefs of your faith is indoctrination. Also, while the article quotes the Muslim Brotherhood website it fails to mention that Christianity also had it’s own set of goals to sell its ranks of believers; get them while they’re young! Talk about indoctrination!

    • Islam is a religion of hate, violence, dominance, and control.

      The Quran:

      – Quran (2:191-193) – “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing…
but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone.

      – Qur’an 23:1-6—The Believers must (eventually) win through—those who humble themselves in their prayers; who avoid vain talk; who are active in deeds of charity; who abstain from sex, except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess—for (in their case) they are free from blame.

      • This should be considered similar to teaching Charles Manson’s manifesto. People should start marching on their schools with torches, pitchforks, and guns. Demand the teachers, principal, and board be held accountable.

      • T says:

Christianity is also a religion of hate, fear, and male dominance. Read your bible, talks about stoning of women and children, killing witches (those that believe differently), not to mention all those people that were wiped out (Remember Jericho) just because they believed differently or was in the way.

  13. Marcia says:

My view. The only way to stop this if you are truly adament about it is for parents to unite and refuse to send the child(Ren) to school. If most of the school is empty of students this sends a flag to the school. You have the right to send children to a school that you agree with. Check with an attorney.on a class action suit. There are many options but if you don’t like it you have to be the one to take a stand. Don’t wait for someone else as that may never come.

How about we get all the facts and get them straight instead of trying to make people angry? !! http://www.snopes.com/politics/education/revere.asp
