It makes sense. A prestigious, respected university in the heart of the Buckle of the Bible Belt, be subjected to a group whose ideology is completely antithetical to our society, our values, and our philosophy, not to mention our Constitution. A group whose ideology is complete control, one government, one set of laws and one religion. A group that holds dear the First Amendment, until it can be twisted and used against the very people that fiercely protect it. The group is the Muslim Student Association ( or organization as they say). Just because it has the word Muslim in it, do not be fooled into thinking it is a “religious” entity. That is merely the guise they were founded upon.
The Muslim Student Association at Tennessee Tech is the same organization that has produced several individuals that have been involved in terrorism, the most recognized being Anwar Al Awalaki who was chaplain for the George Washington University MSA. Al Awalaki was spiritual leader and mentor to Nidal Hassan, perpetrator of the Ft. Hood massacre, the failed Christmas Day underwear bomber plot, and Feisal Shazzad who attempted to bomb Times Square. Former University of Arizona MSA president Wael Hamza Julaidan, who attended the university in the mid-1980s, has the distinction of being one of al-Qaeda’s co-founders and its logistics chief. In September of 2010, a top official of the al-Qaeda-linked Somali terrorist group al-Shabaab, previously identified in recruitment videos as “Abu Mansoor Al-Amriki,” was in fact 25-year-old American-born Omar Hammami of Daphne, Alabama. Hammami had served as president of the MSA at the University of South Alabama. Aafia Siddiqui was convicted of attempted murder of a U.S. Army captain while she was incarcerated and being interrogated by authorities at a prison in Afghanistan. Siddiqui was active in the MSA at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where she studied neuroscience. And the list goes on.
The ideology, agenda, and goal of Muslim Brotherhoods tentacles ( MSA, ISNA & CAIR) are exactly the same as ISIS, Al Qaeda, Al Shabaab, and Al Nusra but only the path to their success is different.
Perhaps those that are charged with the care of our adult children in colleges and universities should wake up to the frightening fact those individuals are amongst you, and nothing, absolutely nothing will stop them from furthering their goals.
The MSA was founded with two goals, to bring Muslims into the “Brotherhood” and to perform dawa ( the proselyting of Islam) to non Muslims in hopes they will convert. Dawa is a duty and obligation for every Muslim
Once again though, the statements these organizations have made In the past usually surface despite their efforts to marginalize them. In a document used by the Muslim Student Association since 1996 called the MSA STARTERS GUIDE: A Guide on How to Run A Successful MSA , the true intent and deception of this organization is apparent by their own words. The following are excerpts from this document . One chapter is titled:
“ISLAMIZATION OF CAMPUS POLITICS AND THE POLITICIZATION OF THE MSA. This brief statement outlines the potential long-term goal of every MSA:”
“The MSA needs to be a more ‘In-your-face’ association”
“We need to mobilize the Muslims on campus so that everyone knows we are around”
“GETTING FUNDING FROM THE UNIVERSITY”
“Understand, for the Student Senate to give 800 dollars to a brand-new organization was unheard of.
They did it only because they thought that we were serious about this club.”
From politicizing their position within the campus to deceiving other organizations for financial benefit, the MSA is also is known for inviting speakers with radical philosophies and unsavory associations to campus in hopes to draw Muslims but more importantly to draw non Muslims.
Case in point, TTU has invited Eboo Patel, the author of Acts of Faith to speak on the campus on Oct 7. Not only are his associations unsavory, they are criminal. In 2011, Mr. Patel attended the 48th annual MSA Continental Conference as a co panelist with Tariq Ramadan, Sirhaj Wahajj, and Yasir Qahdi.
Tariq Ramadan, The grandson of Hassan al Banna, founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, had his visa revoked by the U.S Dept of Homeland Security in 2004 due to his financial support of Hamas, which is a designated terrorist organization.
Sirhaj Wahaaj on a list of unindicted coconspirators in the trial of the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center
provided testimony to defend the Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel-Rahman, the former leader of the Egyptian terrorist organization
while lecturing at the Islamic Association of Northern Texas. In November of 1991, Wahhaj advocated the establishment of an Islamic State in the U.S.:During the same lecture Wahhaj predicted the demise of America unless it accepted “the Islamic agenda
Yasir Qahdi: 2006 – listed on terror watch list
2007 video – “We are loyal to our countries insofar as it does not interfere with our religion of Islam”
You Tube video published August 3, 2009 – calls Christians among other things, “filthy” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1jC0y8hIs8
Eboo Patel has also co authored a book ” Letters from Young Activists, Todays Rebels Speak Out” with Chesa Boudin, son of Bill Ayers, the terrorist from the Weather Underground. Endorsing the book for Patel is Mumai Al Jamal , Black panther member who was convicted and is doing time for the murder of a police officer. He doesn’t mention this book very often.
Clearly Tennessee Tech University has a problem, a Muslim Brotherhood organization embedded in their campus, and a Muslim Brotherhood speaker on his way. What’s unclear is how Tennessee Tech will respond.
